The SaunaLife TITAN SL1 is a portable propane sauna heater engineered for off-grid sauna use, fast heat-up, and strong stone temperatures. It requires no hard-wired electrical connection or chimney and is designed for properly constructed sauna rooms as well as the SaunaLife SaunaTrekker and SaunaTrekker XL tents when installed and operated exactly as specified by SaunaLife.

Sauna stones, propane cylinder, optional Heat Shield, optional Water Tank, sauna tent, seating, and other accessories are sold separately unless specifically included in your order.
Required for Operation
Use propane (LP) only. The propane cylinder, regulator assembly, and gas-supply connections must remain outside the sauna room or tent. SaunaLife specifies a 44 lb loaded stone capacity using 1–2 in (3–5 cm) stones; its current product page lists two 33 lb boxes of SaunaLife stones as the required purchase quantity. Install the heater only on a stable, level, non-combustible surface and maintain continuous natural ventilation during operation.
Installation & Safety
For sauna-cabin installations, minimum clearances measured from the outside of the stone basket are 6 in left/right, 6 in rear, 16 in front, and 50 in to the ceiling. With the optional TITAN SL1 Heat Shield, the left/right and rear clearances may be reduced to 4 in in a compliant sauna cabin, while the front and ceiling clearances remain unchanged. The Heat Shield does not reduce the required clearances inside a SaunaTrekker tent.
Minimum natural-ventilation free area is 54 sq. in. for the lower air intake and 39 sq. in. for the upper exhaust. The upper exhaust for an indoor sauna room must discharge directly outdoors. For tent use, the heater must be placed in the designated corner containing the lower ventilation intake. Do not use the TITAN SL1 in third-party or modified tents.
Cabin installations may be subject to local building or gas requirements. Verify applicable requirements before installation. Installation should be performed by a person familiar with fuel-burning appliances and gas-safety practices.

Warranty & Support
SaunaLife’s general sauna warranty linked by the supplier specifically excludes sauna heaters and added components. The TITAN SL1 should therefore not be represented as covered by the general 2-year sauna warranty. Contact Golf & Wellness Lab before ordering if you need written confirmation of current heater-specific warranty coverage.

Does the TITAN SL1 require electricity?
