Heating Technology

The FD-2 utilizes Finnmark’s proprietary combination of infrared heaters:

• UL-listed Spectrum Plus™ short-wave infrared heaters
• Spectrum Carbon 360° long-wave infrared panels
• Near-infrared LED ceiling lights

This configuration supports full-body infrared coverage and allows the sauna to reach temperatures of up to 170°F while operating on a standard 120V household outlet.

Materials & Construction

The interior is constructed from Western Canadian cedar, selected for its suitability in sauna environments. The exterior features Thermal Plus™ Aspen, a heat-treated wood designed for dimensional stability and long-term durability.

Double-wall construction with non-toxic wool insulation and 8 mm tempered glass supports thermal efficiency and structural integrity during regular use.
